Warranties Available: 

Gold (12 Month): 

This warranty gives you full cover for the replacement of the parts you purchase and cover for labour expenses for a full 12 months from time of purchase.

 
   

  

Silver (6 Month)
This is our most popular and our recommended warranty and gives you full cover for the replacement of the parts you purchased and cover for labour expenses for a full 6 months from the time of purchase.

 

 
   

Standard (3 Month): 

This is our basic warranty and is the minimum cover we offer with any part sold, this warranty still covers the replacement of the parts you purchase for a full 3 month from the time of purchase. In this basic cover labour expenses are covered at the time of installation only.

All parts are automatically covered by this warranty.

Kieston Imports Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse credit to applicants without reason.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Conditions of Despatch

We are not common carriers. All goods become the customer’s responsibility (including freight charges) upon removal or despatch from our warehouse. Despatch will be by your nominated freight company or via companies regularly used by us, unless otherwise instructed.

Warranty

All parts sold by Keiston Imports Pty Ltd at the time of leaving our presmises, are guaranteed against defective materials for a minimum period of 90 days from the date of sale. Electrical items are excluded.

Parts are not guaranteed against failure or damage arising from faulty or incorrect fitting, incorrect application, damage caused by other components or equipment, or any damage caused by any means over which we did not have control. Use of After-market ECU (computer) voids warranty.

Keiston Imports Pty Ltd disclaims any liability for labour cost or other income and damage attributed to the failure of parts supplied by us.

Keiston Imports Pty Ltd will replace, free of charge, any parts that in our opinion, after examination by us, are defective through faulty material or manufacture, or refund monies. RETURNED GOODS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ORIGINAL INVOICE NUMBER.

All goods must be returned to Keiston Imports Pty Ltd, freight prepaid, for inspection prior any warranty being acted upon.

All goods remain the property of Keiston Imports Pty Ltd until fully paid for and funds cleared.

Fitting Requirements

  1. Cooling system must be cleaned and serviced.
  2. Thermostat and radiator hoses to be replaced.
  3. All engine ancillary parts, ie carby, starter motor, alternator etc not covered by warranty
  4. Diesel engine fits need to service injectors and injector pump. No warranty will be carried out on engines that have damage caused by faulty injectors and/or pump.
  5. All oil seals must be checked and replaced if needed. Be aware that leaking seals are not covered by warranty.
  6. Timing belts are to be replaced at customer’s discretion and cost.
  7. Broken or damaged gears in gear boxes and differentials are not covered by warranty.

Forwarded and return freight is the customer’s responsibility

ALL CHANGE OVER ITEMS TO BE RETURNED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR NO WARRANTY WILL BE CONSIDERED.


Turbo units are guaranteed to work at start-up only.
Electrical items are guaranteed to work at time of sale only.
Warranty is not transferable
Parts used in competition are void of any such warranties. The customers must prepay all freight costs, for warranty returns.

Good Returned for Credit

No credits will be looked at unless invoice number is supplied.

Goods returned for credit will only be accepted on the following basis:

  1. Goods have not been dismantled, are complete, undamaged and properly packaged.
  2. Returned goods must be received within 7 days of invoice date and accompanied by:
    1. Invoice number
    2. Date of invoice
    3. Reason for return
  3. All freight on returns must be prepaid
  4. A 15% handling fee may be charged on goods returned for credit
  5. At no time can the refund amount exceed the original purchase price.

No credit will be issued for:

  • a) Items not purchased from us
  • b) Dismantled parts
  • c) Items specially procured for you

Receipt of goods into our warehouse is not to be construed as any obligation by us to issue a credit.

Acceptance of Conditions of Sales

The above conditions of sale constitute the basis of an agreement between our customers and us. Accepting delivery of goods detailed on any of our invoices is acknowledgement of the above conditions of sale.
